About Jo
I am Jo Augustus. I am a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist with 26 years of clinical experience working with a range of clients presenting with mental health needs. I have also worked in a variety of professional settings including the HM Prison service. Alongside working with organisations I run a private practice.
I am also an EMDR Association UK registered and practising EMDR Therapist, and a qualified UKCP registered Clinical Supervisor.
My person-centred therapeutic approach is further influenced by psychoanalysis, IFS Psychotherapy and attachment theory models. Working with trauma informed approaches also inspires my practice.
